A customer may access their safe deposit box during the business hours of operation which are Mon-Tue-Wed-Fri : 10.00 am to 5.00 pm Thursday : 10. 00 am to 6.00 pm Sat-Sun-Public Holiday : 9.00 am to 2.00 pm. Access outside of these hours can be arranged with Kuber Vaults by providing 6 hours’ notice. There will be a special access fee payment applied to your account.
Yes. You can obtain a joint licence to your safety deposit box at Kuber Vaults with a spouse, child or another person. (Warning: merely giving someone else a key will not be enough to grant access. They must sign up as a joint licence holder.)
If the law enforcement authorities persuade the appropriate court that there is reasonable cause to suspect you are hiding something illegal (guns, drugs, explosives, stolen items or cash), they can obtain a court order, have right to open the box and seize the contents.
The companies that manufacture Safe Deposit Vaults that house the boxes make them highly “resistant” to fire, flood, heat, earthquakes, hurricanes and explosions.
Once your lease has expired and you don’t wish to continue, please inform us. Upon clearing of your locker and return of both the keys, we can process your refund of key deposit money.
A refundable key deposit is taken as a safety measure when you obtain a licence to operate a safety deposit box at Kuber Vaults. This is returned in full to each customer on vacating the vault, unless overdue storage fees or any adjustment to the vault needs to be made provided the key is not damaged and can still operate the locks.
Kuber Vaults does not hold master keys to your personal safety-deposit box for your added security assurance. Your safety deposit box is private. Kuber Vaults will need to replace the entire lock and issue you with new keys subject to the payment of a fee.
Important papers such as; originals of your insurance policy, birth/marriage/death certificates, original deeds/mortgage contracts. Other valuables such as special jewels, medals and collectable items, irreplaceable photos, video or pictures of your home contents for insurance purposes.
Kuber Vaults Licence does not limit the number of times you can access your personal safety deposit box. This forms part of our Licence privileges and every time you visit, there is no fee charged. We do have private suites you can use which can be booked in advance for no extra fee.
Access can only be given to registered persons authorised by account holder.
An organisation/ business which provides custodial services (namely safe deposit boxes) is required to ‘Know Your Customer’ as part of the Austrac requirements under the AML/CTF Act. We will require to sight and take an electronic copy of photo identification at the time of registration.For subsequent visits, no photo ID is required provided the customer has successful access to the premises based on security conditions.
Opening an account with Kuber Vaults is a very simple and streamlined process. Our friendly staff endeavours to keep it quick and efficient, taking 10-20 minutes on average.
With controlled access, Kuber Vaults is extremely secure and just as importantly, private and confidential. Respect for client confidentiality is an extremely high priority. We comply with legislation that governs disclosure of information and has extremely tight controls of our own policies and procedures that govern strict guidelines for staff.
In the event of Kuber Vaults to be placed into liquidation or administration, your assets cannot be seized by the liquidator or administrator, because at no time can the contents of your personal safety deposit box be deemed as assets of Kuber Vaults.
It is the responsibility of the Licence holder/s to update Kube Vaults if their contact details, especially their email addresses, change. Failure to do so could mean missing out on vital information about the lockers.
